Playwell Social is a pediatric therapy practice offering speech and occupational therapy, enrichment classes, sensory play events, and family-centered programs led by licensed pediatric therapists. We focus on early development, caregiver education, and inclusive play opportunities for families in homes and schools throughout Jersey City, Hoboken, and Weehawken and across Hudson County. Through evidence-based practices and play-based learning, we help build skills that carry over into the precious moments of everyday life with your child.
Our approach
At the heart of everything we do, our team of clinician’s mission to nurture each child’s growth through innovative, multi-sensory, child-led play. We lead with compassion, empathy, and a neuro-affirming approach, supporting meaningful progress through play-based interventions. By partnering closely with your family, we help build skills that carry over into everyday life. Whether at one of our partnering play spaces, at home, or out in the community, we believe real growth happens through connection, creativity, and fun. Our approach is to create inclusive learning and play environments so all children can feel empowered.

Our enrichment classes are rooted in evidence-based practices and designed to help children grow their confidence in real-life interactions. Led by our therapists, these groups help kids learn how to share, take turns, express their feelings, and connect with peers in meaningful ways—all while having fun. Each group is tailored to developmental needs, giving children the tools to thrive socially while having fun in a welcoming, supportive environment.
